I'm a big proponent of skin care, so I do recommend seeing an aesthetician every 6-8 weeks. The goal is pore cleansing and exfoliation. When a pore is kept "cleaned out", it appears smaller. I offer medical grade skin peels that are deeper than an aesthetician can do. I recommend these once or twice a year, depending on your need. You will look fine for 1-2 days and then peel like a snake for 3-4 days. I customize the solution for the needs of your skin. Skin care products: After a peel we can discuss a skin care regimen. I have a line of skin care products that include an antioxidant for day use under your sunscreen and a combination of glycolic and Retin A therapy at night. It's a simple, affordable program.

IPL  Intense Pulse Light

IPL is a treatment used by medical professionals to provide photo rejuvenation of the skin of the face, neck, chest and hands. It treats redness, skin discoloration and sun damage.

The technology uses a high powered, hand held computer controlled flash gun to deliver an intense, visible, broad spectrum pulse of light in the spectral range appropriate for the  specific desired treatment. The light targets chromophores that are heated to destruction and reabsorbed by the body. Brown pigment can take 1-3 treatments, Red or vascular pigment can take 3-5.
Pre op - You will be numbed with a topical anesthetic 30 minutes prior to treatment. Treatment takes 20 -60 min depending on how many areas will be treated.
Post Op- The brown pigment will turn very dark over the first 24 hours. It will gradually break up over a week’s time. Moisturizers and makeup are fine. Sunscreen is a must.
